Our Post 16 provision provides an opportunity for Young People to continue to complete or further develop their independence skills on a range of courses, including:
Pearson Entry Level Personal Progress
Entry Level English, Maths, Science and ICT
Emphasis is made on independent living skills and enterprise. Young People are engaged in a range of experiences to extend their knowledge of outside the school environment, considering the world of work and leisure activities. Where appropriate, pupils attend external activity programmes and sessions to develop their social skills and enhance their learning.
Young People will have timetabled sessions for careers and complete a ‘Passport to Adulthood’ which will support their transition to a college or Post 19 provision. This will include an option for work experience, job interview and additional IAG meetings with our external careers advisor.
