Summer Holiday Club

Our Summer “Holiday Club” has been a great success. We have had three days of fun, frolics and friendship. We had a fantastic day out at Sefton Park and the sun shone. As you can see the Palm House was looking good.

Next day we were busy at ‘home base.’ Some of us with an ‘arty’ leaning made some 3D collage pictures that Matisse would be proud of. To use up some energy and enjoy a little exercise, some of us were able to spend time in the swimming pool. Not quite the beach at Malaga, but nevertheless as good an experience.

After all the exercise it was time for “Holiday Club Masterchef.” Some people just don’t appreciate what it takes to make a perfect scone. Cold hands, cold dishes, not too much fuss and generous on the sugar for a little crunch – perfect !

Well done to all who came to “Holiday Club!”
