Jackie, it’s . . . only ‘Au Revoir !’

It’s always sad when staff in school leave and today is no exception.  Jackie has worked in our residential department for 11 years.  She has supported all aspects of school life both in residential and in school during the day.   Every class in school made her a bon voyage card as she moves on to pastures new.

Pupils and Staff, throughout the school, came together and celebrated her time with us.  Our special assembly kicked off with a song by Survivor – “Jackie don’t go !”  Her Friends

know to well, Jackie’s penchant for  ‘rapping’ which was celebrated by playing “Jackie, Jackie, Jackie !”

After a presentation of gifts and cards a tearful Jackie thanked everyone and Declan reminded us all “She can come and visit us !”  Our celebration ended with a rendition of “Brown eyed Girl.”

Everyone wishes Jackie huge success in her new career and want her to remember, “don’t be a stranger, come back often !”
